High Five for Mechelle McGlothlin!
Mechelle was awarded the High Five Award by Leighan Johnson. Here is what Leighan had to say about Mechelle: "Mechelle is so helpful to everyone. She takes pride in her job as the custodian at WCC. She handles some of the messiest situations with grace and never complains. Not only has she stepped in to her position at school but she has also given of her time and services to help decorate for a baby shower and parent teacher conference. We are blessed to have her as a part of our team!"

WCC HIgh School has started a new reading initiative. All 9-12 grade students are required to have a book with them to read at all times during the school day - every day. When the students are done with their assignments they are required to read. Please encourage reading at home. The more you read the better you will get at it. There are tons of books in the library to choose from.

Hive Five for Leighan Johnson!!
The High Five award was presented to Nurse Leighan by Kelly Tucker. "Leighan is caring, sympathetic, and concerned about the physical, mental, and educational needs of all the students at WCC. She also takes great care of the faculty and staff. She goes above and beyond by checking up on us all, even after school hours. Nursing is her passion, and WCC is blessed to have her as part of the family."
