Arkansas Bell-to-Bell, No Cell Act Starting with the 25/26 school year, the Arkansas Bell-to-Bell, No Cell Act will be enforced in all public schools, including White County Central Schools. This new law prohibits students from using personal electronic devices during the entire school day - from first bell to the last. Important Information No device use during school hours: Students may not use cellphones, smartwatches, tablets, or similar devices upon entry of the building until the final bell of the day. District Policy: WCC has updated its electronic device policy to comply with this law. Our updated policy will be published in the Student Handbook on our website. Why this change? The goal of the Bell-to-Bell, No Cell Act is to reduce distractions and create a better learning environment for all students. Our policy updates will comply with the new law. How can you help? Please talk to your child about this upcoming change so they are prepared for the new expectations. If you have questions or need more information please contact your child’s school office. The High School Library will be open on Monday (7/14) from 9:00 - 1:00

WCC Middle School and High School will provide all essential school supplies for students in grades 5–12.
The only items parents are asked to purchase are backpacks and 3-ring binders, and only for classes where it is specifically required.

LETTER TO THE PUBLIC: from Superintendent Pharis Smith As you all know, Act 123 of 2025 allows all students to receive one free breakfast per day at a public school. The White County Central School District will be providing one free lunch to all students as well during the 2025-2026 school year. We have worked hard to provide this and it is now coming to fruition. We are very proud to be providing these meals through our food service program at no cost to the students' families. This summer our food service program and OPAA! have already served 11,000 meals to families. We are very thankful that we have been able to provide these meals to our community at no cost. FYI: If you have children in school, you will probably like to know that the free breakfast and lunch will be a savings of $880 per child per year. It would be more, but we have not raised our prices on student meals for several years. These savings will hopefully help the families of our students. IMPORTANT: We will need to get everyone who attends White County Central School District to turn in their free/reduced meal applications this year so that we can continue to offer free lunches in the future. WCCES School Supply Update!

Class of 2026: Don't forget your Senior Portraits are July 30th starting at 9:00 am. Everyone must get a portrait - even if you are having your own made - this is for the Senior Composite! If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Watkins or the High School Office.

Class of 2025: Your diplomas, jars, and other end of year items will be available for pickup next week. 7:00-3:00 Monday and Tuesday, and 7:00-12:00 Wednesday.

Despite it being summertime, most of these great students came every day of the week! Their dedication earned them an awesome Water Day! We threw water balloons, sprayed each other with water pumps (teachers included), spent hours on the water slide, and enjoyed a special visit from Kona Ice. We love our kiddos at WCC and we were happy to show them our appreciation for all their efforts. Have a wonderful summer and stay safe! ❤️- Mrs. Reeves, Mrs. Gallegly, Mr. Walker #Proud to be 🐻's!

These kiddos worked hard reviewing old skills, learning new skills, and trying new things through our fun STEM ACTIVITIES! They didn't give up and problem solved together each day of the week. We built water slides, waterproof phones, aerial water scoopers, heating/cooling devices, and even packed our "trunks" for a fun vacation trip. So proud of them! ❤️-Mrs. Reeves
