
At tonight’s school board meeting, the board voted to immediately lift the mask mandate for White County Central. Masks will be optional to all students, teachers, and visitors on campus.
Isolation guidelines for COVID positive cases will remain the same (5 day isolation followed by 5 days wearing a mask or a 10 day isolation if you choose not to wear a mask or are unable to wear a mask after testing positive for COVID).

WCC Elementary Parents/Guardians: Just a reminder that tomorrow and Friday are the last days to turn in orders and money for the Valentine Grams. Forms will be sent home with students K-6th grade again tomorrow in case you have lost them or need more. Grams will then be given out to the students PreK-12th grade on Monday the 14th.

Bus 7 (Mr. Farris/Mrs. Parish), Bus 12 (Mr. Jones), Bus 4 (Mr. Clouse), and Bus 14 (Mrs. Altom) will again be running snow routes tomorrow. We think on Thursday we should be able to run most of our complete routes.

Our Book Fair is coming February 14-24 in the WCC High School Library! Every purchase supports our school! Don't miss out on getting to finally have an onsite book fair!


WCC will be in session at normal time on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Due to icy conditions, the buses will again travel only the roads they did this morning. We are very hopeful that another day of thawing will allow us to run normal routes on Wednesday.

We will be hosting Guy-Perkins tomorrow night. Senior Night will start at 5:00 with games to follow.

WCC bus route will not be able to pick up student today in the are of Red River Shores. If you have any questions please call your child’s office.

Brandy Altom’s bus will not run Hubert Williams Road tomorrow morning.

White County Central will be open on Monday, February 7, 2022 at normal time. We will have adjustments on some bus routes due to the ice. We will not go down the following roads: Clearwater Road, Hodge Road past Dam Site, Dam Site, Pond Road, Ferren Road, Arnold Road, and the old King Mtn. Road. Bus drivers will use their discretion on any other road they don't feel comfortable driving. Any student that lives down these roads and are unable to get to a bus stop will not be counted absent tomorrow. Even with the temperatures rising, most East-West roads have slick spots in shaded areas. Thank you for your patience, and please stay safe.

If you checked out a MiFi (hotspot) device, it is due back tomorrow. Please send it back to school in the morning with your student.

White County Central will be utilizing AMI Day 4 on Friday, February 4, 2022. Stay safe and we will hopefully see you Monday morning! Check your Google classrooms!

Due to the forecast of impending inclement weather, White County Central will be taking AMI day 3 on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Students should log into their Google classrooms and complete their assignments. Attendance will be tied to the completion of these assignments. Stay safe!

Tonight's conference games with Midland have been moved up to 3:30 due to the impending inclement weather. Jr. Boys will start, followed by Sr. Boys and then Sr. Girls. Midland administration will be keeping an eye out and will stop the action if necessary to ensure safe travels home.

Bus 7, Mr. Shayne's bus, will be later today than usual. He is reversing his route just this afternoon due to a fire on Y and Y Salvage road.
