This week is National School Lunch Week. We wanted to brag on our cafeteria staff! We appreciate all that they do for our students and staff.
Homecoming tickets are on sale at ticketleap.com Go to the website and search for WCC Maroon and White Game. Tickets are $1 by debit or credit card and you will receive a scannable ticket. Either keep the ticket on your phone to be scanned or print the ticket to be scanned. Due to COVID there is limited capacity. Tickets will be sold at the door for $1 cash (no change given back) if there is capacity left. Also, concessions will accept exact change, debit or credit cards this year. (no change given back due to COVID) Homecoming begins Friday at 5:00 with games to follow. Go BEARS!

Flu shot clinic packets should have been passed out to all students in Elementary. JH and HS have a choice to get the forms. Forms are due back by Tuesday, October 13th. GRIT Award alert!!! Alexis France has been nominated by Mrs. Thompson - Alexis has been working hard academically this year and being the best she can be. Great job, Alexis!!!
Today's siblings are Keaton Brahic, Jaci and Mason Beals. Keaton is an 11th grader, Jaci is a 10th grader and Mason is in the 2nd grade. Keaton and Jaci have been attending WCC for 4 years now and Mason started his academic career in WCC's Hippy program. These kids are proud to announce that their Dad graduated from WCC!!!
Jaci loves this school - it makes her feel like she is at home and she says WCC accepts people for who they are. She also enjoyed being part of homecoming last year. Keaton loves the sports and people at WCC!!! Keaton and Jaci like the small town atmosphere and love that the school teams earned district and conference champ titles -these last few years- in several sports. Mason loved the BearCubs experience last year (little people basketball) but is disappointed - it couldn't happen again this year due to Covid-19. Mason's favorite time of the school day is recess.

#GREATwork at WCC Elementary
Today is the beginning of the WCC Siblings' Feature.
Today's siblings are Cody and Tyler Braham. Cody is a senior this year and Tyler is in the 10th grade. Cody and Tyler first started WCC about 9 years ago. They both attended school in Germany before they came to WCC. Their family chose this school because they had cousins that attended here.
Both boys say that the staff is really kind but they are also strict. They like that the teachers try to make their lessons engaging. Cody will never forget Mrs. Henry because she made him realize that he had potential and is smart. Tyler really likes that 'kindness' is a focus at the school especially when he was in the 7th/8th grade. They both agree that the teachers will definitely help you - if you ask- but you have to try to do the work first.

HELP! HELP! HELP! We have only had 7 donations so far for today's BETA Blood Drive at First Baptist Church in Judsonia! We have about 45 minutes to get some more donations before they shut it down! Please if you are in the area consider going to give!!!
Don’t forget about our blood drive TODAY with a goal of 15, held at First Baptist Church Judsonia. All HELP is needed to ensure we will meet our scholarship levels. A donor could potentially win a $25 or $50 gift card!

HOWEVER, First Baptist Church in Judsonia has graciously given permission for the use of their Fellowship Hall! PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING!!! Remember, you are not only saving a life but you are helping raise funds for a scholarship for one or more of OUR SENIORS!!! **ALSO, we just received word that if we collect between 18-20 units one lucky donor will receive either a $25 or $50 gift card!!!**
