HIGH FIVE AWARD
Awarded to Sam Farris from Tammy Parish. Here is what Mrs. Parish has to say about Mr. Farris: "I am passing the High Five Award to Mr. Sam Farris. The five words inscripted on the hand are Character, Connection, Challenge, Commitment, and Compassion. On a daily basis, Sam Farris carries out to a high degree, the definition of each word. Great principals exhibit all 5 of these words. Although this is his first year as Principal, Sam Farris is GREAT! I have been impressed with his calm demeanor, high moral standards, and his ability to build relationships among colleagues. I can only imagine how busy this first year has been for him but he has always made time to listen when I needed to be heard. He has an enormous amount of compassion and because he leads by example he continually challenges me to be a better person today than I was yesterday. I have witnessed him do the same with our students at WCC. I consider him more than a principal but also a friend. I have enjoyed watching our girls grow together in basketball, friendship, and other aspects of life. I am very grateful for the love, support, and encouragement he has shown me. Thank you Sam Farris for being GREAT in every walk of life. I proudly pass the High Five Award to Mr. Sam Farris!!" Congratulations Mr. Farris!

HIGH FIVE AWARD!
Awarded to Tammy Parish from Gary Hoover. Here is what Gary has to say about Tammy: "I'm passing this aware to Coach Parish. She is a great example of what it represents. Coach Parish befriended me very early on, offering her help and encouragement, and always has the time to lend me an ear. The "not my job" attitude does not apply to her. From taking a heavy trash bag across the parking lot to cleaning up after a sick student, she seldom needs assistance. The love and dedication she has for her students and ball team is obvious and the reason she is one of their favorites. Like myself, she will probably say she does not deserve this award by we all know better. Thank you Coach Parish for all you do for our school and the students!" Congratulations Coach Parish!
