White County Central Middle Level FBLA students attended the Arkansas State Leadership Conference in Little Rock today. They competed in various events: Mya Jones- Elevator Speech, Luke Jones- Leadership, Noah Scoggins- Exploring Technology, Leigha Johnston- Running an Effective Meeting, and Bethany Reiser- Learning Strategies.
Congratulations to all of these students for their efforts and representing the school so well today! A very special congratulations to Luke Jones, who took 2nd place in his event which earns him a trip to National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, GA this summer!
There is always great rejoicing when a class earns center day in the elementary library! Mrs. Bowman's class is loving every minute!
Due to the threat of imminent severe weather, WCC will dismiss early today, Friday, March 31st . 1:45 for elementary car riders and 2pm for bus riders. The elementary car gate will open at 1pm. We apologize for any inconvenience. We are looking out for our students and faculty's safety. If you ordered a Boston Butt from FFA - they will still be ready at 3:15pm at the high school today.

Esports has 2 more regular game weeks and then playoffs start!
The Varsity League of Legends team is NUMBER 2 in the STATE. We play the NUMBER 1 team tomorrow. They are one of two teams in the state guaranteed a spot in the playoffs right now!

The WCC baseball game for today, Friday, March 17th, has been cancelled.
WCC parents and guardians: If your child receives a Friday food bag each week, you will need to pick it up from Clearwater Baptist Church tomorrow. Bags will NOT be at school. They will be heavy boxes and we do not want kids trying to carry them on the bus. Pick up times are 8:00 am-9:30 am and 2:00 pm-4:00 pm. The address is 3032 Hwy 157, Judsonia. Have a safe and happy Spring Break!
Brayden King was our top reader in the Read A Thon with over 1,000 minutes! Jude Herman was our top fundraiser with $270.00! To redeem prizes go to the Read-A-Thon Store and spend the $ you earned. You have 10 days to shop before it closes. Thank you so much for your support!
The elementary chess team had our Spring Co-Op tournament yesterday. We went up against 10 other schools in 5 rounds of play. Collectively we won 41 games, we had one player go undefeated at 5-0, and we had five players go 4-1. It’s hard to emphasize how incredible those stats are!
In the end we had 3 players bring home trophies. Cache Pate got first place (5-0) for fourth grade, Owen Watkins got third place (4-1) for fourth grade, and Lucas Morgan got third place (4-1) for sixth grade.
Some honorable mentions were our other players that went 4-1 for the day; Colton Reeves for third grade, Owen Clements for fourth grade, and Cameron Morgan for sixth grade.
Throughout the day, this team represented WCC so well in skill and character. What a great day to be a Bear! 🐻♟️
