For those of you who planned on taking the ACT tomorrow, please be advised that the ACT company is having some technical difficulties and have removed some students from testing rooms. If you are affected, you should have an email. If you were signed up to take the test tomorrow, please make sure to check your email as soon as possible.
Important Middle School Dates and Info
White County Central High School 9-11th grade awards for the 2019/2020 school year. Congratulations students! You are welcome to come pick up your certificate next week in the high school office! Make sure you call first to see if someone is there!

Reminder: All 2020-2021 School Year Enrollment Forms, in which you enroll for your preferred program, are due tomorrow. There is a drop box located at the Elementary entrance. You can also complete the form online at the following link: https://forms.gle/fNZdhVLQknB4EQxT7
Today, Governor Asa Hutchinson announced a mandate on face masks for the state. This mandate (pictures attached) will require the following changes in our return to school policy: All students 4th-12th grades are required to wear masks, where social distancing is not feasible. Students below these grade levels will be highly encouraged to wear face masks.

Pending no other changes from the Governor, Arkansas Department of Health, or Department of Elementary and Secondary Education - the first day of school for students will be Monday, August 24th. An updated WCC school calendar will be released soon.
Basketball practice for the 5th and 6th grade GIRLS will be cancelled today (Tues, July 14). The next practice is on Thursday.
Attention 2020 Kindergarten Parents: The school list sent out earlier this morning had a rest mat listed as one of your school supplies. We will not be using rest mats in Kindergarten this year.

Attention WCC! NEW SCHOOL START DATE -- Governor Hutchinson just announced that the start date for the 2020-2021 school year has been moved (from August 13) to the week of Aug. 24. White County Central School District will make a decision next week on our official start date and we will share that with parents/guardians/students as soon as possible.
Just to clarify- The 8x10 'Class of 2020' class picture is free!
Class of 2020 - if you want an 8x10 composite picture of your class - copies are in the high school office. Please contact Dr. Underwood before you make the trip to make sure the office is open.

9th-12th Grade students for the 2020/2021 school year. Dr. Underwood has sent you an email with the 'Enrollment form' link on it. Please talk with your parent/guardian and then fill it out! She needs all 9-12th grade students to fill this out by July 17.
Seniors 2021!! Senior pictures are scheduled for July 28. You will receive an appointment card soon, but I am attaching a blank one to this post along with the scheduled times for the day.
