The ADH has officially closed schools in the following 4 counties in Arkansas: Jefferson, Pulaski, Saline, and Grant. Schools in all other counties remain open until given a directive to close from the state. We will keep you abreast of any information that we receive.
WCC is aware that some schools have closed due to COVID-19. We will release more information after Governor Hutchinson gives guidance during his 1:45 press conference today.
White County Central is continuing to monitor updates regarding COVID-19. The Governor signed the following executive order yesterday, that stated “the Secretary of Health in conjunction with the Secretary of Education, shall have sole authority to close public schools.”

The high school library is having their Scholastic Book Fair this week. It WILL be open for PT conferences tomorrow evening as well. There is a selection for all ages and some great bargain buys! Make plans to come by!

All tryout material will be opened in Google Drive around 8:15ish Friday morning. They need to work on the tryout material over the weekend.

Kona Ice will be at the high school from 10am to 11am on Thursday, March 12.
Tomorrow’s basketball games for the pee wees versus Newport will include 4th girls/boys games too. Games begin at 4:00 and will be played in the following order:
5th girls
5th boys
4th girls
4th boys
6th girls
6th boys
The 4th grade games will be much shorter with a running clock. The gate will open as soon as car rider pickup lines clear.
