Our very own WCC Abigail Mullins received a letter that she was selected as an Arkansas Governor's Distinguished Scholar. She will get a scholarship up to $10,000 a year to help pay tuition. Congratulations!!
Parents, We hope that you and your families are doing well. We wanted to give you an update regarding the hotspots. Although promised to be in last week, we are still awaiting their arrival. We will get them programmed as soon as we get them and then set up a schedule for you to come pick them up. We also are getting an outside access point to allow you to sit in the upper end of the parking lot between the middle school and the auditorium to access the internet so your children can do their work. We will let you know when that is available. Please don't worry right now if you don't have access. Your child's teacher will be contacting you to ensure that they can still work with you even without internet service right now.

As you log into your child's chromebook for the first time. It is possible that you will open up to a page called TestNav. You will need to exit this screen any time it opens. You do this by pushing "ctrl+alt+s". You can also power down and reboot until it goes away. If you have problems, please reach out to your child's teacher. They should be able to assist you.
All 2020 WCCHS Seniors have met the state and local graduation requirements. Prom has been postponed (There is no date set yet due to Covid-19). As of right now graduation has been postponed to June 13, 2020 or July 25, 2020 both at 3pm or at a later date- depending on the Covid-19 restrictions. Bear Nation - As I’m sure you have heard by now, the Governor has officially closed schools onsite for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year. We are heartbroken that the year ended this way but our dedicated teachers will continue to provide the best possible instruction they can during this time. We began distributing Chromebooks today but it is a time consuming task. We will again begin at 9:00 on Tuesday. Please contact the school if you haven’t received a device by Thursday morning. Chromebooks are being delivered today and tomorrow. Hotspots will not be delivered till next week. Parents/guardians and students please remember since the student has to login to the chromebook to get access that every site that you go on is traceable by WCC. Due to registration being cancelled, we wanted to have an opportunity to find out who is coming to Kindergarten. Food Service - Beginning on Monday, April 6th the delivery will only be twice per week. We will deliver Mondays for meals for Monday and Tuesday, and Wednesday for meals for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Again the deliveries will begin at 11:00 from the school on those days. Please contact the school at 501-729-4292 if you have been overlooked for deliveries.

WCC will begin distribution of chromebooks on Monday. We are still waiting for portable hotspots to arrive and will deliver them asap. Teachers will be reaching out to you to discuss plans for the upcoming weeks. Please don't stress about lessons too much. Focus on your family needs first. Stay healthy. We MISS our kids!
WCC will be changing food delivery beginning next week. Delivery will be on Mondays and Wednesdays with lunches and breakfasts for multiple days. Please be out waiting for the delivery. AMI packets can be placed on buses next week if you don't email them.
Friday food backpacks can be picked up tomorrow, between 9:00 and 12:00, at Clearwater Baptist Church.
